If you used the pool this year, we want to hear from you! Pool programs in 2013 were a success, and we’re hoping to make 2014 even better! Please complete this survey so that we can compile your thoughts in preparation for a meeting with the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks Aquatics Division. The survey will remain open until September 23, 5pm.
Everyone loves the smell of a wet dog, right?! Well, maybe not, but don’t deny your water-loving pup a chance to splash around in the Riverside Park Pool! Bring your four-legged friend for a quick dip on Labor Day between 5-6pm to close out the season. $5/dog to enter.
The Walters Art Museum’s Off the Wall exhibit was installed Tuesday at the Covington/Heath entrance of Riverside Park. The featured piece is called “Flowers by a Pond with Frogs” by Giuseppe Recco. Mark your calendars! The final installment of the Riverside Park Summer Music Series will take place on Sunday, September 8 at 5 pm. Sac au Lait will be providing the tunes, and RNA will again provide a bake sale table and 50/50 raffle. If you’d like to donate items for the bake sale, please bring them to the bake sale table, bagged and priced.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Aqua Bootcamp will no longer be held on Tuesdays, and there has been a time change for Wednesday classes. It will now be held Wednesdays 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm and Saturdays 11:00 am – 12:00 noon throughout the rest of the 2013 season (thru Sept 2). $7/class.
In lieu of our August and September meetings, we will be holding a Riverside Neighborhood Association BBQ Social on September 15. Bring the family and some beverages, enjoy some burgers and hot dogs, and meet your neighbors! Volunteers with grills, grilling skills, and paying the bills are needed. More details to follow.
Due to the successful summer at Riverside Pool, the closing date has been extended from August 11 to September 2. Thanks to all who participate in the programs and frequent the open swim hours – because of you we have 3 more weeks of beating the heat!
Captain Jack is playing this Sunday, July 21 @ 5pm! Bring a picnic and spend a Sunday evening enjoying live music with your friends and neighbors. Don’t forget to bring some change to purchase something sweet at our bake sale.
