The Sole of the City 10K will take place on Saturday, April 12 from 9-11am. During this time, a portion of the Riverside neighborhood will be impacted. Please take a look at the updated course map above and plan your travels accordingly.
From the Department of Transportation’s Traffic Advisory:
The 10K course will begin and end along Fort Avenue at McHenry Row. Participants will proceed east on Fort Avenue, right on Lawrence Street, left on Key Highway and right on Light Street. The race continues right on Pratt Street, right on S. Wolfe Street, right on Lancaster Street, then around the traffic circle to Aliceanna Street onto the harbor promenade. Participants will follow the promenade to Rash Field, turn left onto Key Highway, right onto Covington Street, left on Fort Avenue back to Whetstone Way to finish.
During the event, southbound Wolfe Street will be closed to through traffic between Fleet and Lancaster Streets. In addition, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible. Commuters should be aware that temporary traffic stops may be implemented along the race route for the safety of participants.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and changing traffic patterns, and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
